Ivie part 1

I was inspired by the hair and makeup in the TV show 'The Boys' so I decided to explore a new superhero concept that would fit into the shows aesthetic and context. This part is the initial superhero character ‘Ivie’, taking inspiration from Poison Ivy. The scarred vines over her chest and face are the result of her becoming a superhero, where the ‘Compound-V’ injection mixed with her botanical nature and vines burst from her body. I chose to show the healed stage of this, a few months after the initial injection. Part 2 of this project can be seen in the SFX section of my portfolio.
Technical skills include:
Hand knotted wig, cut and styled.
A fibreglass injection mould for a silicone piece covering the eyes. This included domed out cavities for the actor to open their eyes and hair punched eyebrows and eyelashes.
Sculpted, ran, and applied 5 flat pieces and 2 bondo pieces
